Starbuck has their own digital marketing strategy i've just realized how starbucks gone digital. Hmm Free wifi HMMM. I mean it turns out that free wifi not for free. You might think it's confusing why i was saying it it's free wifi not for free. It's because of the marketing reasons and i'll be explaining further throughout this post.




So basically there are many strategy used by Starbuck as i observed since weeks ago and doing a bit of research about it so by starbucks reward point from every single coffee purchases and social media posting therefore customers will be loyal as the reward point can be used for further purchases. Secondly not only the social media but the mobile marketing by tracking coupon usage, applications download and periodic surveys.





I also promised you above that i'll be explaining about why am i saying that the free wifi is not really for free and might be a disadvantage for some people and for some reasons. As the free wifi of starbuck is actually aming for the powerful data collection tools therefore every customers who log in with their wifi will be recorded and so the company can get the information about the websites visited by customers. Therefore that information can be used for next marketing strategy such as for example forecasting to put the advertisement in the specific page that actually visite by starbuck's customers. Moreover not only for creating marketing strategy however it also acts as an evaluation to serve the starbuck's customers better




Air Asia connects with the customers and fans. According to siimpliflying's blog when the other days i read about it they are saying  that Air asia has replied the highest percentage tweets in the world amongst the other competitors such as Singapore airlines, Cathay pacific and the other competitors. This is interesting how many companies nowadays care much about the contribution of customers in the social media? as far as i concern not many of them however, what's surprising for such a big company like Airasia, they actually reply each of the customer's questions and you can pretty much expect a quick reply during the working hours.

Marketing is not only about promise but how you build people's trust toward the brand or company so people will keep on purchasing your products if sometimes the company's promise is not being fulfilled. Airasia assists customers on the twitter and facebook page when they are having complains or unsatisfied with the service they are willing to contact the customers directly in order to keep the privacy of the customers.




Airasis has reached so many followers on twitters and likes on facebook. Air asia really use the opportunity of cheap marketing as word of mouths spread like crazy in the real world and Airasia did a really well job in noticing that in my opinion. One reply is actually define that the company CARES with the customers which not much company realizing it.





Kathleen Tan the Airasia head of commercial saystha the airline’s Facebook page has helped the company in so many ways such as allowing the guests to share the travel experiences that they had experience before and complaints can be shared to the public as they realized that transparency is crucial. It also enable guests to check on the flight information.

Airasia also reward their fans 20% off discounts when they hit 100,000 likes on facebook years ago this is a really lovely attitude by Airasia and make customers like the company even more
Not only companies who use digital marketing as a source of intermediary of advertising however some of the famous youtube artist david choi also do the digital marketing on youtube. By he making numbers of some interested covers sometimes it appears on the youtube advertisement when we select through another video it suddenly might came up as the advertisement of the new songs.

However, this works David choi makes plenty of money through the youtube video number of albums are available to be purchased on itunes and this is how a youtube artist actually raise mony from through thousand s and millions of people who are enjoying much with the music and decided to actually download the music. As you dont realize this digital marketing strategy on youtube is another way of saying as a good step to be popular for people who has the intentions to build careers over youtube.

Some of interesting comments from the fans are actually posted on each of the music cover that david choi's made and people just love it giving good feedbacks and in some cases i believe they actually share the musics with friends meaning there are going to "words of mouth" spread amongs group of friends and it might actually work.


it turns out not only David choi that has build the attention of people there are also some other interested youtube artists that are successful from the digital marketing through youtube. Some people might think that it is kinda stupid and funny to post on youtube and share of whar are you doing in public however if you wanna do "branding yourself" it is not bad to try the social media especially youtube for such of a fresh start.

Hi guys so this is my blog post of the week! It's pretty interesting that nowadays you might not or might realized that your friends requests are no longer your friends anymore instead of the bunch of online sellers in the list. For some people who likes to get so many followers might be happy to have so many random followers on instagram. However for those people who doesn't mind about how many followers do they have especially me i locked my instagram so only just a few and selected online shops that i would like to see who added me otherwise some of the online sellers can be a sellers freak on instagram.





Let me tell you what is the definition of crazy in this case, first who do you expect to comment on instagram? Your friends or may be just public's opinion? Instead of "Hermes 100% authentic only in @hermesau****" then after a while they just spam on the other few photos and comment the same thing i mean it's annoying for me and some people might just block that online shop however not only one online shop that does it which is pretty surprising. However, without you realizing your friends look at your picture some are stalking you some are just see your post through the strolling and see those online sellers who are crazy in advertising their brands. Therefore it actually works even it's annoying.



Moreover, there's another annoying crazy way of such online sellers advertise their products they can just tag you at the products that they are selling and it appears on the photos of you. Personally when i'm being tagged i removed the tag straight away and hide it however for some people they might see and interested to buy. Then i realized this digital marketing is actually work for some peopel even though it doesn't work on me. However, some online shops do giveaway on instagram which i personally interested and try to participate which this makes us at least recognize the brand and might spread the good words of mouth to other friends and i'm thinking how amazing such craze and annoying thing can at least introduce the products to the public and by doing these free digital marketing it does actually work

So this is the continuation of my latest blog post. It actually related with my latest blog however i dont really combine within the 2 to see how's people reaction to each way of marketing of the fast food industry. For me it's really interesting how technology in this era able to marketing the product in such a creative way. Back then centuries before people only marketing the product using labor as the marketing staff however nowadays companies are more into technology and even use the technology such as application on mobile phone to marketing the company's product.





Hungry jack shake application is a new application by hungry jack as in my first blog post i discussed about hungry jack's competitor which is mcdonald way of using digital marketing. Fast food industry nowadays use different ways of digital marketing to marketing their food. if Mc donald use "monopoly" game as their way to marketing i'll show you guys what way does hungry jack do. the shake application actually enable as to check in the nearest hungry jack and by playing the shake game app on your smart phone you can now count on luck and shake it to win a special deal such as buy 1 get 1 free or special price for certain products  and you can claim it instantly in the nearest hungry jack within 20 minutes this creates consumer attention and attract buyers to buy with the special deal. 





However there are some drawbacks i found out throughout everytime i shake those thing and just doesn't get lucky. i try to shake it and didn't win anything last time i shake it therefore i change my plan because i'm being stingy HAHAHHAHA but it turns out i actually go to another store and purchase another foods rather than buying hungry jack.
